221B Con Sponsors

Our convention is made possible year after year by the generous contributions of many businesses and individuals. We deeply appreciate those who contribute their time, skills, and passion, as well as those who financially support our convention.

This year, we thank the following businesses and individuals for their sponsorship.

Belanger Books

BELANGER BOOKS is one of the world’s most prominent Sherlock Holmes publishers. Founded in 2015 on an ever-expanding library of anthologies and novels (100+ to date!), their collections have received praise in The Strand Magazine, I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere, and Amazon.com reviews.  In addition, Belanger Books is the official publisher of August Derleth’s pulp detective SOLAR PONS. They are officially authorized by Arkham House to not only reprint all of the original stories, but to publish new adventures of this fan-favorite character.

They proudly support THE BEACON SOCIETY, encouraging teachers, librarians, museums, and children’s theatre directors to use Sherlock Holmes material to educate and engage students, and THE FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION, helping military families stay together during medical crises.

The Ken Ludwig Company

Ken Ludwig is an American playwright, author, and director whose works have been performed on Broadway, London’s West End, and in many other prestigious theaters. His works span many genres. In the mystery category, his plays include Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie adaptations, children’s’ works, comedy, and classics of English literature.

Ken’s works have garnered Tony Awards, an Edgar Award, an Olivier award, Drama Desk awards, and many others.

Elaine Aronson and Curtis Armstrong

Producer and writer Elaine Aronson and acclaimed actor Curtis Armstrong are longtime supporters of 221B Con. Elaine’s career credits include HBO’s The Gilded Age, First Wives Club, That ’80s Show, Roseanne, and more. Many con attendees may recognize Curtis for his portrayal of the Metatron in Supernatural, though he is best known for his roles in Better Off Dead, Risky Business, Revenge of the Nerds, and Moonlighting. Curtis and Elaine have been married since 1994, and together they have one daughter.

Support 221B Con

Our convention relies on the support of our fans and community through attendance and sponsorship.
If you or your business or organization would like to contribute to our convention, we’d love to hear from you!

As we renew our commitment to 221B Con and look to expand our convention, more funding gives us the ability to reach larger audiences and afford major guests. In the past, attendees have offered to donate to cover first-time con badges, assist with travel costs, or buy the concom one of those red pouches from the bar. (Iykyk.)

Whether it’s $2.21 or $221, your contribution will go toward keeping 221B Con up and running. Donations of any size or frequency are gratefully accepted. If you want your donation earmarked for a specific item, let us know.

221B Consolidated Ltd. is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations may be deductible for federal income tax purposes.
